Our summer solstice-themed dance of 19 June will gather more than dancers: astrologers, palm readers, tarot card readers, and kindred spirits will be setting up their stalls, sharing their knowledge, and adding a little “contra magic” to the evening.
GODS January dance will be Friday January 17th. We are dancing at the United Church of Gainesville, 1624 NW 5th Ave, Gainesville. Start time for this dance is 7:00pm!
Caller John Rogers is calling to the music of Loco-Motion. Loco-Motion is:
• Sarah Mitchell on flute, hammered dulcimer & various noisy objects (feet, whistle, drum);
• Sherry Lowe on keyboard;
• Kathy Aagaard on fiddle; and
• Joe DePaolo on drums.
Sunday, June 30th, 2019, is the GODS Advanced Dance at the Thelma Boltin Center from 4-7 pm. The band is Wind That Shakes the Barley and the caller is John Rogers.
SeptembARRRRR 15th be the day n’ th’ hour to come to th’ dance dressed like a scurvy pirate! We gunna kick up our heels ’n make merry like the swashbucklers we be! ’Tis a tradition!
