June 2: Dance Video with Wild Bill's Traveling Circus & Joe De Paolo

ALERT: This Sunday's combined waltz and contra event at the Thelma Boltin Center in Gainesville WILL BE VIDEOTAPED for later production of a short video about contra dancing in friendly Gainesville.

SO, PLEASE NOTE: Feel free to come dressed exactly as you would otherwise. Or, feel free to DRESS UP in your swirly skirts or whatever you best like yourself to be seen dancing in.

Since the video will portray us dancing to music by Wild Bill's Traveling Circus, appropriate dress for this event would include Wild West and Circus costumes or dress.

If you do NOT wish to appear in the final video, it is best to let the artist know, or consider attending another dance than this one.

Marc Hennessey, profesional musician and videographer from Ashville, will be producing a short promotional video shot at this coming GODS regular contra event of Sunday, June 2nd from 2:15 pm onwards.

Marc is a very dedicated and capable videographer and musician who liived and danced in Gainesville for ten years until 2011. He is now visiting from Ashville, NC and can offer his service as a love offering on this Sunday only before returning to Ashville where he does the editing.

Yes, I know that this is sudden. But let's take it as a gift from heaven and make the most of it in our own inimitable ways! Word of this event is already starting to get around in the teens, twenties and thirties demographics right here in Gainsville. So come on up to Gainesville this Sunday from 2:15 pm onwards for lots of artistic flaire and plain old fun!

For further details, contact the videographer Marc Hennessey by email at hello@ashevillefilmvideo.com or email Patrick Harrigan at kataragama@gmail.com regarding GODS publicity.
