🌼✌️ Flower Power meets techno contra! Katie Zanders will call the dances and supply her own high-energy playlist—no live band, just irresistible recorded grooves and an evening of joyful dancing.

Come dressed for a return to wild ’60s-style hippiedom! Break out your bell-bottoms, tie-dye, paisley, fringe, peasant blouses, flowing skirts, colorful vests, headbands, love beads, peace signs, flower crowns and round tinted glasses. Raid the closet, costume box or thrift store for anything bright, psychedelic or wonderfully unconventional. Full hippie regalia is welcome—but any flowery attire or cheerful floral accoutrement will put you in the spirit. Add a blossom behind your ear, a garland around your neck or a few flowers in your hair and join the celebration!

Costumes are encouraged, never required. Come exactly as you are if that suits you better. No partner or previous contra-dance experience is needed; newcomers are welcome, and we’ll teach you how.
