The Flying Turtles String Band plays high energy music and roots blues. With fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, and tight harmonies, this band is a favorite at folk festivals, intimate clubs, and every contra dance in Florida.

*03:30 - 04:00pm* --- Contra workshop for beginners
(New contra dancers, & those wishing to review their dance moves, or help others to do so, please attend this pre-dance contra lesson.)
*04:00 - 07:00pm* --- Contra dance with Susie Rudder & Flying Turtle String Band
*~07:15pm - until* --- After-dance party in SW Gainesville hosted by Deni Breckenridge [bring suits & towels - pool is available!]

Dancers *age 15 & under get in FREE *when accompanied by an adult.
No partner or experience is necessary.
