Of the many kumquat varieties, those At Large are one of the tastiest. Five years in the making, the Kumquats At Large serve up Rich Crew (fiddle and recorder), Sarah Mitchell (penny whistle, flute, drum, foot percussion and hammered dulcimer) and Bill Dudley, guitar.
Blending dance gypsy experience with contra joy, Rona Wiener calls an engaging program for all levels of dancers. Rona's enthusiasm for the dance embraces teaching workshops for a thriving contra community.
Kumquats at Large are:

Dancers 25 and under pay only $5.00 admission; dancers 15 & under dance for free! $10.00 otherwise, at the Thelma Boltin Center 516 NE 2nd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601. Included is our social waltz before the dance - 5:45-6:30 pm. No partner necessary.
New dancers, and those wishing to review their dance moves or help others to do so, please attend the free lessons 30 minutes before the dance. Come at 5:45 to waltz, glide into the contra lesson and then "Contra the Night away"! Dance ends at 10 pm.
If you snack, bring one to share and a water bottle to save the planet. A babysitter is available at no extra charge.
