Coracree

April 6: 1st Sunday dance (4-7 pm)
Band: Coracree
Caller: JoLaine Jones-Pokorney

Coracree is a contemporary contra dance band that melds a mixture of traditional Celtic, Old Time, European and Original music played with an improvisational twist. Featuring the always lively and playful fiddling of Jane Rothfield, the driving swing of Bill Quern on tenor banjo, mandolin & melodeon, Sarah Gowan’s inventive guitar stylings and the melodic and rhythmic stand-up bass playing of Allan Carr. These guys rock!

Kumquats at Large & JoLaine Jones-Pokorney

Sweet and tangy kumquats, fragrant on the breeze, only hint at the tasty tunes of another Florida homegrown, Kumquats at Large. Returning from a lauded performance, Bill Dudley and Sarah Mitchell are joined by the ever popular Rich Crew in enchanting a dancer's evening.

Our own ever-popular JoLaine Jones-Pokorney, a caller at Catapult in 2013, collaborates to call fun and tangy dances.

Kumquats at Large are:
